Attack Daddy time! 
They were taking a breather between tickle attacks and heart to heart chats in this photo - so much laughter! 
Our small bedroom is the only one on the first floor, and I haven't loved it. It doesn't have the space for a desk I've always had, and my creative hobby supplies are jammed into nooks and crannies. I miss having a more private space of my own, as well.
But, over the past year we've been here, our room has become an extension of our main living space. And the sweet memories we have lounging, chatting, snuggling are becoming some of my favorite. 💙💙💙 #surprisedbymotherhood

We still have some things to do in here, like in a month or two I'm adding window seats under the windows. Which I'm SO excited about! I'm a firm believer that the more window seats a house has the better! We also have to finish painting the windows, a little section of the bricks, a real mantle board, add more vertical board and batten boards, and figure out the couches as one of these is half of our old sectional that won't fit all together. And waaaay down the line, flooring through the whole house. 
But I love how it's turning out! The diy paint splotch wall paper was scary 😂 but once the room was put together I love it! Also, for those who noticed, our tv is crooked but we're ok with that. 💃

We got two of those puzzle lamps, called IQ Lamps. If you don't know what I mean, just Google it, you'll probably recognize them from fairs and outdoor markets. Ours are large and white, and a budget friendly lighting option for a space that we need lights for. And as cheap as they are we're debating if they're worth all the work they take. 😂 
My girl loves puzzles, so she tried it with the written instructions and now she's trying it with a YouTube video. I didn't plan on her making them, but she had her work done when they showed up and she was so excited to try! Homeschool life is always interesting! ❤️
Also, I still haven't updated our chalk board calendar. 🙈
