Day 5 – Figure Out Your Priorities and Choose a Blend to Support Them

Five on Five!

Today we’re Identifying 5 Priorities. Well, around 5, some of us have more, some less. But figure out what your big priorities are. Here’s a little hint: start with your biggest roles. I am a person, a christian, a wife, a Mom, a homeschool teacher, a friend, a daughter, an aromatherapy student, a neighbor… Your priorities will come from your roles, try to lump some together. Like Wife/Mom/Homeschool Teacher is under the “Family” priority for me.

Identify your priorities today as a way to quiet down your schedule and help your mind compartmentalize in the long term. For instance, I homeschool, but that’s not the priority. Family is that priority so if any part of homeschooling, or homeschooling itself is no longer serving my family, we’ll move on to something else that does! I could easily let homeschooling events and tasks take over our lives, but it’s kept in a place that serves us. Priority setting is pretty cool!

Now to soak in!

I love their social media presence and I can’t wait to get their book and every one of these oils. Priorities, goal setting, personal growth – they mixed some of my favorite things ever with oils! I’m super excited about it!

Family is my current big priority. It has been for a long time, but duuuude, this one can be so HARD so any encouragement is good encouragement!

Day 4 – Complaint Free Day With Joy!

Day 4 and Happy Monday!

Sometimes un-nice things are necessary, but not complaints! Try not complaining for a whole day – I’ve been trying to make it a month since like January, I haven’t made it yet. 😢 But I’ve learned a lot about myself and made lots of forward strides!
Today, just try holding your tongue like thumper. Becoming more aware of our words, their effect on ourselves and the people around us is one of the best and most fruitful ways to quiet down.

When you start to become more aware of what’s coming out of your mouth, you might not like what you find! To combat that we’re going to be soaking in Joy, because Joy! and Grapefruit for it’s uplifting qualities.

Quieting down means we get to be more acquainted with ourselves – find Joy there!

Day 3 – Declutter with the Release Blend

Decluttering! It feels so, so good once it’s done, but ugh! I think I’d rather do something else, always.

Today the goal is just a small exercise in decluttering. Don’t go crazy and unload your whole closet! We’re going to throw away or give away 5 things or work on it for 15 minutes, whichever comes first. If you make a give away pile, put it right in the car and **super extra credit** if you can drop it off at a donation spot within the next three days!

Helping us with this task is the Release blend! A perfect accompaniment when we’re having trouble letting go of things, control, anger, etc. In yoga they’re always saying, remember to relax your jaw – sometimes we hold onto things we don’t even realize we have a tight grip on because our focus is elsewhere. But, just like jaw clenching, these things aren’t serving us – so let them go!

You can apply Release topically, to the back of your neck or jaw line, and the bottoms of your feet. We apply oils to the bottoms of our feet, especially, because the skin on our feet is less sensitive, lacks sebaceous oil glands making it easier for the oil to get right into our systems, and the pores are larger! My favorite way to apply oils is to put around 10 drops in a 10ml roller bottle, fill the rest up with a carrier oil like almond oil and roll away! This is also a great blend to diffuse right in the room where you are decluttering!

Today, look around your space, your life and ask your self if there are some things maybe you didn’t even realize you were holding on to! Release them so they can bless others!

For This Shirt I Prayed

Silly isn’t it?  The idea of praying for a shirt. I wasn’t praying for the shirt so much as what it means, but every time I see it, it makes me smile.

When I was a new Christian, I had been following God for about a year and a half and I wanted to give Him e.ver.y.thing. All of me. I deal with fear, which was a big player in my life at that point.  Big, like HUGE. I was scared of everything.
